The Holding Company Bar and Restaurant

This is a great place to have a bite to eat and a few drinks while your at it.. the pub is very patriotic and the prices are great, the staff is very professional and friendly, when customers order drinks the staff tries their best to serve drinks in a timely manner and the food is great I tried the patriot burger and was very pleased with my food.. I was very happy to have been invited to an event there and will come back to this pub next time I'm free

Wow, this place is amazing. At first I was a little put off on the prices since this food is American (burgers, pizza, etc) but it was worth every penny. Our burgers were phenomenal. And the buffalo cauliflower was the best I've ever had!!!! Our friends were satisfied with their meals as well. They had the grilled chicken tacos and protein bowl. Overall great food and ambiance, I'll def return!!

Pretty chill to get decent food and good beer. Went on a weekend for lunch, and the place was empty. We sat outside on the beautiful patio and enjoyed our food. Even though it is located inside the mall, it does not feel like it. Would go back here again.

I love this place!! It’s the perfect low key pub with great food along with friendly staff. It’s a great place to watch games since they have multiple TVs with different games playing on it. Definitely coming back regularly. We got the tater tots which were really tasty. I would definitely recommend the chicken quesadilla though, that was one of the best I’ve had and I’m definitely getting it again if I go back. The chicken quesadilla was better than the beef. We also got 8 wings which were also very tasty.

Good for drinks after work. Service is a hit or a miss (I know it gets busy and staff tries their best but it's not often great).Food is typically bar menu and quality. I ordered lunch to go there once. It just wasn't great.Stick to the after work drinks for this place. Try to go on the patio if it's a warm day. Totally worth it!

Good location! Right at the top of the Embarcadero Center, with space outside in the summer. Courtueos and efficient staff, good selection of beers and bar food. Try the sliders and a pitcher of beer. Good for happy hour or a sport event.

It's so hard to find places that will be big enough to hold a group for happy hour. I thought of Patriot House from my time working in the financial district and thought this would be a great place to take my offices. The only problem is that Now I moved to Soma and was working in tech- so I was afraid that our group would feel out of place- not wearing the uniform Patagonia vest, button ups or slacks. We crossed Market into the financial district and to the Embarcadero and yes there was still an unofficial dress code but Patriot House welcomes all. We reserved a table for 10- ordered a ton of drinks and appetizers and had a great time.The only problem was that it was trivia night and we were all mostly bad at that. (I need to brush up on my current events and knowledge on random useless historical facts!)
